If a damaged ship enters a port that is not capable of completely repairing that ship, is it possible to sail the ship to a port that can do so?

Ok, thanks.  Obviously its better to be a + than a -, but is there some quantifiable dimension to that circumstance?  If so, what? 

Each ground combat features (-) or (+) for such conditions as morale, experience, leadership, etc. What are the exact effects of these various conditions? At what point do experience, leadership and morale move from a (-) to a (+)? Thanks

Its about $16 on Gamers' Gate(download only), at that price, its not a risky investment.

This patch doesn't solve the iNvida incompatibility issue, does it?
