RE: unhandled exception

<t> OK I"M PISSED! Did all that. Up-loaded my DxDiag txt a week ago and I have heard nothing back. I have a message asking someone to look into my problem... So I look at the Matrix site to review the return policy and low behold... all sales final... I just saw fifty dollars disappear from account ...

RE: unhandled exception

Thank you, but I tried all that. I've uploaded my DxDiag so hopefully we can get it to run; I'd hate to have to get a refund after hearing how fun this game is to play...

RE: Help for the Axis player

<t> Uhm... not sure what scenerio y'all playing, but on 17 December a 12 man engineer squad with a lucky hit on the lead tank stopped the exausted Kampfgruppe Peiper for the night east of the heights above Stavelot allowing the americans to move in more troops, just goes to show that one lucky guy ...

RE: Rushed retreats also in BFTB?

<t> Perhaps the fact that the selected unit is inexperienced, ill-trained, unfit, unaggressive, not very stubborn, has low moral, and possibly poor command ratings has something to do with their willingness to retreat? And they appear to be facing dug-in battalion (+) with gun and mortor support (of ...

How easy to import or create HTTR scenarios into BFTB?

Title says it all... Plus this may act as a selling point if it will be just a matter of a short time before the scenarios from HTTR can be played with the changes in this game.

Oh well... I was really looking forward to playing this over the long weekend, but guess I'll be saving up some more money for a little while... I've just been looking forward to this title for to long to completely pass it up.

RE: Reinf Tab question concerning all releases

<t> Hopefully simple enough to include in BFTB; please, if not in release but the first patch because I've saved maps, printed them, and then reviewed the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one, and began to cry. By the way it ...

Reinf Tab question concerning all releases

<t> Currently I'm playing Battle for the Maltese Cross in COTA and had a thought... Surprizing sometimes, but anyway: would it be possible on the Reinf tab to highlight sections (i.e. shift or ctrl click ala windows) so I can see entire groupings of reinforcements on the map at a time? If this is ...

RE: Engineer Teams

<t> This experience comes from CC:WaR, but I'm fairly certain it applies: My German squad chucked their explosives at a target during an assault and not only was the American squad decimated but so were two of my other German squads that were also involved in close assault. At least it appeared ...

RE: Fire command - show of hands?

<t> So, with regard to MarkShot's original question does anyone else use 'fire' for the same purpose as I describe above? It seems to me that the intention of the command is to direct flat trajectory HE firing units with LOS to target an area like one would with bombard. Considering that we don ...

RE: Fire command - show of hands?

<t> I sometimes use the fire command for anti-tank guns with HE and infantry guns for direct fire interdiction missions along known or suspected routes of enemy advance when I know the enemy must be advancing up a road in confined terrain especially when artillery assets are unavailable ...

RE: BFTB (Mini-Guide): Material TBD

<r> Concerning unit planning delays: in certain situations, Germans especially, it might be better suited if the default delay was accurate right off the bat. From what I've seen of the scenerios for the first couple days, albeit limited, the Germans are already in motion. Most of the ...

RE: CotA or HttR

<r> The cost of these games divided by the amount of pleasure and time spent playing them easily makes them the cheapest of all my hobbies; so if you want to talk about a great return on investment in this economy - this is it. That being said I did pay Matrix retail price for COTA but bought HTTR ...

RE: Don't Understand

<t> I'm playing as the Germans now in the same scenario; the point balance for the objectives is drastically different. The objective you didn't take appears to be Uden. It may be worth 7 points to the allies but to Germany it's 68 points to hold it to the end. I managed to hold out at Son&nbsp ...
