Reinf Tab question concerning all releases

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

Reinf Tab question concerning all releases

Post by emerson »

Currently I'm playing Battle for the Maltese Cross in COTA and had a thought... Surprizing sometimes, but anyway: would it be possible on the Reinf tab to highlight sections (i.e. shift or ctrl click ala windows) so I can see entire groupings of reinforcements on the map at a time? If this is already included i apologize I'm often brain dead, but I haven't found it. Sometimes what turns me off most from a scenerio is having to click through dozens of reinforcements, write them down and formulate a plan. If there's something I'm missing in that regard please point it out because it's often a liability to my enjoyment of great games.

Good idea. Alas COTA doesn't support multiple selections on the reinforcement display. I'll add it to the wish list.

Hopefully simple enough to include in BFTB; please, if not in release but the first patch because I've saved maps, printed them, and then reviewed the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one, and began to cry. By the way it's snowin in Texas and I'm not pickin' up garbage - if you get the reference... Just hopin' I get anything I want...

Currently BFTB does not support multiple selections in the sidebar either. It gets rather complicated modifying the selection code. So, I'm not sure when we'll get to it at this stage. But I do agree it's a good idea. [:)]

Kid, we found your fingerprints on an envelope buried under a half a ton of garbage. We don't like you kind, and were going to send those prints off to Washington...[;)]
