FYI - tried it on Win 8 - my wife's computer.  Same crash bug, but the uninstall option is not viable.

RE: Weird issue related with scrolling

So I changed my resolution from 1680X1050 to 1440X900 and the crash did not recur. But then I crashed on turn 8 or so with an OutofMemory exception. Was too disappointed to get the debug code, sry.

RE: Weird issue related with scrolling

<r> First turn of Poland in Campaign vs. AI. Happens unpredictably when scrolling, but usually when near the map edges and has happened in all zoom levels. Happens when starting a new campaign or loading a save game. Have been unable to get through a single turn.<br/>

Sounds like as they exist they are great for throwing into the meat grinder to stop an enemy advance....they are more effective as raw recruits jumping off the trains into machinegun fire...

Casual 1v1, Any scenario or random

I'm looking for any scenario or random map with any conditions. Probably opening myself up for an ambush, eh? We can talk about about the details, but I'm tired of beating up on the AI.

RE: Leadership Variant AAR or how to shovel noodles uphill

I might observe that well placed paradrops along the roads into the mountains would result in massive paratrooper casualties as well as massive drop in the supply of the italians in the hills.&nbsp; Along with a ton of artillery, it might make a breakthrough possible.

RE: Fighter intercept range - variable?

I've seen this in another thread. It seems like it is a % reduction in range proporitonal to readiness which breaks at 75, 50, 25. For example at 50% readiness they intercept at 50% range.

RE: Fine tuning AI strength

I've found that the AI is more goal directed and efficient with more VPs.&nbsp; Maps with small numbers of large cities give the computer a lot of open space to fumble around in and he becomes very prone to over extending himself and allowing massive encirclement.

I'll play WWIII, I might be fodder though since I've only played against the AI.

RE: Supply... what am I missing?

<t> I pray the supply system is never changed.&nbsp; Although difficult to learn, it is the most transparent and manipulable supply system I've ever used and it makes managing logistics enjoyable - this coming from a guy who hates micromanagement.<br/>
