Used the "check for updates" option on the menu & told I was up-to-date. Where do I locate the patch?

So am I stuck untill a future patch/upgrade comes out?

By not reassigning units to the area they are operating in do you lose anything? Replacements, resupply, support, combat efficiency, etc?

So I have to use my political points to transfer them to another area (Northern Force) move them and use more points to transfer them back? That sucks.

How do you move units assigned to the Kwantung Army that arrive in the Home islands? My transports cannot load them and air transport (pick up unit) is also not an option.
