Kwantung Reinforcements

How do you move units assigned to the Kwantung Army that arrive in the Home islands? My transports cannot load them and air transport (pick up unit) is also not an option.

I believe that is same as it always was. You have to buy them out.

So I have to use my political points to transfer them to another area (Northern Force) move them and use more points to transfer them back? That sucks.

A long term bug bear of mine ... including China. I don't actually use the PP's to reassign them back though cause I like using air transports too much.

By not reassigning units to the area they are operating in do you lose anything? Replacements, resupply, support, combat efficiency, etc?

Once you transfer them to an unrestricted command, you never need to transfer them again.


IIRC the penalties for having a unit in a "strange" HQ are minor or non-existent. I know that I played a *lot* of Witp and never worried about it.
