RE: Looking for exp Jap player

Well technically he dropped the game. We reached Apr.42(he had 2.5-3 adv. in points already) when I got email from him that he can not continue this game for now due to some RL issues. So I just want to start a new one then, only one game at a time for me.

RE: Penalties for fixed fronts???

<t> So game allows any army to be attached to a front HQ which is over 1000 km from it and fight as effectively as it would be attached to its origin front, but too much overloaded?! I feel it's a bit gamey style and probably those Caucase fronts should be restricted as well as their units, if this ...

RE: Penalties for fixed fronts???

STAVKA is overloaded with other units. I wanted to know if there are and what are the penalties for armies which are still in fight in front lines, but their Front HQ is fixed in other place like Caucase etc.

Penalties for fixed fronts???

<t> I have a question about some gamey options. Is there a penalty if I attach a few armies of SW and S Fronts to fixed North C. and Trans C. Fronts to reduce difference between command points ?! What are the penalties will these armies have? Any supply issues or smth like that or nothing will ...

RE: what is WITE ?

<t> Soviets can do it only in 42 and later, I think. What about previous year? Is there any logic why they couldnt do that? They actually did.<br/>
What about operations like Demyansk pocket? Since I play this game I m sure this can't be reproduced at all. Almost 100K Germans were in pocket from ...

<t> I ve been playing WITE since december, and I really loved this game and enjoyed. But after months of playing I have seriously doubts that this game can really simulate the conflict just like it was happening in 41 - 45.<br/>
The problem is about the scale. One week turn, and 15 km hex is smth ...

RE: Can we have Rudel counter please

<t> Rudel? Greatest liar. He was a hero of Nazi propaganda and most of his " victories " were unconfirmed, or were confirmed by Rudel himself only. So all those numbers of thousands of tanks destroyed by Rudel are in Rudels dreams. Read his book to see that. Too many mismatches and outspoken lie ...

RE: My version of the 'Frontline' Mod

You ve got some mistakes in russian names for cities. Simerferapol is actually Simferopol, Barvenkovo not Barenkovo. I speak russian so if you d like me to check all the spellings send me a PM.

RE: Does the type of tank matter?

<t> It s not easy to compare just tanks. It depends on many other things like: crew skills, technical support. German losses were often so few just because they were able to evacuate their damage tanks and repair them later, but not just they were much better than russians. There was interesting ...
