JParton, some months ago (3 - 4... I don't remember), there's a thread on same subject started by me, with some comments.
I agree with you, crowfunding seems to be the best way to reach (shorter) business goals (on videogames industry at least).

I know we are in finish lane, but i have a silly question: MWIF is a impressive project concerning simulation, AI, etc... But why not consider the Kickstarter option to boost the project with his game enthusiast?
