Radar altimeters were were in use during ww2.

Wikipedia mentions that the SS-N-7 was the first to be fitted with a radar altimeter and entered service in 68.

It looks like earlier missiles used a mix of datalink (radio commands) and INS.

No, the Olympus was a straight turbojet with afterburner. Concorde had an intricate variable inlet and spill door mechanism to keep shocks away from and pressures reasonable at the compressor.

There was a plane that few people remember called Concorde that could supercruise at mach 2 and 50,000ft.

I would like to see some button presets for altitudes similar to the speed buttons. eg, Very Low, Low, Medium, High.

I'm not up to speed on all CBU types, but shouldn't they generally be released at 3 km altitude? They can be set to break open at ~500 meters, and they need extra time to arm after release. Are there any high drag, low alt types?
