RE: Bonus a bit much

<t> I agree that they need to be toned down a little. In my most recent game i found a capital ship a couple of years into the game. when i retired it i got given the Impact Assault Blaster D9.<br/>
<br/>
The firepower on a destroyer jumped from 20 to 100 and as a result i dominated the rest of ...

RE: Revolutions

Thats a bit of a pain. I would assumed it would work like ship destruction, whereby you dont seem to take a rep hit when destryong the ships of an enemy you are at war with.

RE: Revolutions

<r>
<QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>You take a REP hit, not just a relational hit, so your empire's reputation will decline rapidly if you keep getting caught. This is, naturally, more of a problem for you than the AI, which tends to have Nasty reputation anyway from his unsavory habit of shooting at you and ...

RE: What gives ?

<t> It would also be nice if there was a way to supress the locals of an invaded planet (other than bombing them into small pieces beforehand [8|]) <br/>
<br/>
Taking into account war weariness, the "you are at war with our race", and the retention of the previous owner's tax rates (not an issue ...

RE: Revolutions

<t> At the moment it does seem a little too easy to incite a revolution. The percentage chance for even a low skilled agent is fairly high if you give them a year to carry it out.<br/>
<br/>
In general I think the cost involved in maintaining agents and sending them out on missions is to low ...

Revolutions

<t> Revolutions are starting to drive me nuts. Is there an effective way to defend against them? <br/>
<br/>
I usually have atleast 5+ agents on counter intelligence but it doesnt seem to stop the ai spamming me with revolutions. <br/>

After about 3 incited revolutions i start losing ...

RE: What gives ?

Did you declare war before blasting them?

I've noticed that if you dont declare and just start shooting stuff up you reputation drops to evil pretty quick, and then everyone else hates you.

RE: Resupply Ships

<t> When i used a resupply ship I ran into an issue similar to Sliverine's hypothical problem<br/>
<br/>
I noticed that the resupply ship only mined caslon or hydrogen even if others were present when deployed. The problem however is that I rarely have fleets that require both fuels. <br/>

Crash researching High tech

<t> In the last 2 games i have played i have noticed some odd happenings when crash researching High Tech<br/>
<br/>
The most recent example: the next research component is listed as recreation centre RC300. I crash the research and a few mintues later i receive a message telling me that colony ...

Emptying re-supply ships

Is there a way to empty a ship cargo bay?

My fleet runs on calson at the moment but as most gas giants have both fuels my re-supply ship is carrying a load of hydrogen that i don't need. I'd rather dump it and fill it with only calson

Thanks

RE: Space Ports?

I tried out the pop support starbases you suggested and also noticed that the medical and recreational bonus doesnt seem to get applied to the colony

Works fine from space ports though, although the ai doesnt seem to include the modules by default on small or medium ports
