RE: Messaging lost

<t> Just wanted to chime in here, I get this exact same problem very frequently.<br/>
<br/>
Everything else works, but the scrolling messages just disappear, and when they do, nothing brings them back.<br/>
I can still see them when I go to see the message history, they are all there as if they ...

RE: Comparisons to Space Empires and Galatic Civ?

<t> I would say the game does not yet match up to SE-4 or 5 (I prefer 5 myself..) but I think that after a few more patches, better AI and more modding capability, all of which are on the way, it will. DW is closer to the GalCiv level currently than it is to the SEV level. It isn't bad by any means ...

RE: Minor Request: Fix the Time Scale

<t> The massive population explosion is because of the huge population growth rate. Humans default rate is 14%, which is 7 times more than it has ever been in the real world and 10 times more than it currently is.<br/>

Yeah, I know there's nothing I hate more than sharing a great gaming experience with a friend.

Ohh wait..

Multiplayer would make the game 5x better at least.

RE: Different size galaxies, what do you think?

I would love a bigger overall map, 25x25 would be great.
Also would love if the scale of the solar systems was larger as well, like, more distance between everything.

But yeah, no idea if that's within the games capability.

Completely worthless systems seem to be a waste of the game's RAM, which is already experiencing issues. Perhaps the generator should decide "Why is this system even in the game?" before generating it, so that there aren't any purposeless ...

<t> When it comes to DW, I think of it as the game omitting the 99% of useless solar systems and only showing the ones that matter.<br/>

RE: What gives ?

Also apparently bombarding a planet will cause everyone of the same races on said planet to hate you. Given that this was late in the game, if you bombarded it's likely that any target planet had half the races in the galaxy on it.

<t> The normal tech tree takes about 1500k to max out a field, but the super-weapons need 9999k to get. So, getting them from research bonuses would take a very long time and a ton of advanced ships to take apart.<br/>

I've never had it happen from switching my government, but I do always check to see how happy my colonies are first.
