RE: TRN file for PBEM

The manual is completely out of date. In CW2 there are no .TRN files. There are .ORD files and .HST files.

When playing PBEM the host sends the .HST file to his/her opponent. Trouble is the system is totally transparent.

So I can see both sides here. I can understand those who don't care for the repetitive nature of a game system that uses the same base system to portray wars throughout history. But I can also understand those who see the beauty of such a ...

I agree. If you try things in BoA that worked in ACW...good luck. Winter effects, terrain issues, leadership abilities all have different effects. Even in ROP, I could put a nice big army in winter quarters with plenty of supply. In BoA ...

It is statements like the one from Loki100 that are worrying me. AGEOD have always been a fine game company but I am becoming increasingly uneasy that with the exception of PoN that all of their offerings have become a variation on a theme. After a while when you've played one you ...

RE: Foreign powers

The intervention options are not realistic. Britain was more dependant on Union grain supplies than it was on Confederate cotton. There was as much chance of Britain entering the war on the side of the Confederacy as there was of the Confederacy winning an outright victory.

RE: CWII Bloody Road South?

I kinda got that post wrong. Planed to ask Iain McNeil how long we have to wait for the patch. Is it a few days, a week, several weeks or longer. Just out of interest for one who has no interest in purchasing the expansion.

Yes the patch will be available without the expansion. We are still working on integrating it in to the update system so don't worry it will come once we've completed the testing!

RE: CWII Bloody Road South?

What is going on? This is not turning out to be a very good advert for AGEOD. Expansion released that contains loading errors and no automatic patch for the original game. Hmmm seems to me that business considerations have resulted in a rushed release. Not good at all.

<t> Many thanks Chickenboy for the assistance and to you ckammp for the definative answer. Makes sense now. Thought I'd looked at all of the addendums closely but obviously missed that one.<br/>

Only one question remains to be answered. How much notice do you take of them? Do players ...

RE: Exclamation marks on bases

<t> Hi The Gnome,<br/>
<br/>
If its supply how come as supply is not showing as an issue at either location. According to the base information Diego has 483 and only requires 25 per day roughly 18 days supply. Addu has 566 and requires 102 per day, only sufficient for 5 days. If it is simply a ...

Exclamation marks on bases

<r> Apologies in advance if this question has been answered before. If it has I cannot track it down neither can I find it in the manual.<br/>

My problem is this. I presume the exclamation marks that appear at bases indicate a deficiency of some sort or other, colour coded with red being the ...
