RE: [1.7.01] Refuel command sends fleet into top left corner of galaxy

<r> Yep I think this an issue with the refuel & repair button (blue barrel), haven't had this happen with the context menu commands. I followed my ships around for a few mins and they really were on their way to what I presume is 0,0 cordinates. At one point they hit the map border and continued ...

RE: [1.7.01] Refuel command sends fleet into top left corner of galaxy

I haven't activated the editor on this one though, I rarely do because I'm afraid something like that will manifest itself. [:)] Individual ships on automation seem to be refueling fine.

[1.7.01] Refuel command sends fleet into top left corner of galaxy

<r> When I select a fleet and click on the refuel command, the fleet will be sent to the extreme top left corner of the galaxy. The command reads as "Refueling at" (missing the location). If I click on the button a second time the fleet will be sent to a valid refueling location. <br/>

RE: Ease of homeworld assault doesn't matter

<t> Many others have realized this too, homeworlds are simply too valuable in their current form.<br/>
<br/>
Increased migration rates has come up during these discussions, in effect the homeworld would offload its population to colonies, making many smaller targets instead of a single big one ...

<t> Adding music is easy, just drop mp3 files to \Sounds\Music folder. They will play randomly during the game, with the exception of the title song which you will hear everytime you start the game.<br/>

I don't think anyone has made a music mod yet, copyright issues can be problematic (ie ...

RE: Taking enemy homeworlds way too easy?

Invasion difficulty is one thing, but should the player really be able to own enemy capitals? They just give so much income boost that any kind of balancing effort on behalf of invasion difficulty goes out of the window once you manage to capture your first homeworld.

RE: Taking enemy homeworlds way too easy?

<t> How about instead of taking ownership of the enemy capital, you would gain a sort of vassalage of it. The planet would remain in the hands of the enemy empire, but you would gain a small income/research bonus from it. There should also be a chance that the planet would try to break free if they ...

<t> Out of curiosity I did the scenario again, but this time I monitored my cpu and gpu usage. I was expecting to see either gpu or cpu at 100%, or something simple like that. Unfortunately that wasn't the case.<br/>

RE: Multie Core use and efficiency, questions.

<t> It's not just AoE weapons specifically, however they seem to cause the worst kind of performance hit for me. Like you said, maybe something to do with so many hit calculations happening at the same time. My game also ran smooth when nobody was firing, and then below single digits.<br/>

RE: OK admit it, who else has changed their designs

<t> It does seem kinda cheat-ish to offload research costs to private sector that way, since they usually have way more income than the state has. 100 labs with all the reactor, hab etc. modules factored in have upkeep of ~8500. That's quite significant if you execute this kind of strategy straight ...

Automating diplomacy gets you more trouble than it's worth, however it might make an interesting game. Put diplomacy on full auto and control everything else, and pretend you're following the orders of higher-ups. [:)]

Considering my counter intelligence agents have been gaining experience every now and then I would say yes, but I don't really pay attention to that stuff and it's really easy to miss. Most often they get caught for stealing maps or research.

Yeah, I think I'm going to put all of those at no stance, just to be on the safe side. Didn't realise the effect it would have when I messed with it. [:)]
