How long does it take

to complete the single player part of the game and is there replayability? I'm getting closer.

Micro management

Have just started trying to playing CIV 4. There seems to be a lot of micro managing involved.

In Battlefield Academy and other war games is there a lot of the above mentioned.

I'm sure I'll live through it but I'm just curious.
