Re: Strike planner / flight size / WRA help needed

I have a similar problem with the flight planner. On strike missions, the land strike takes off and endlessly circles the "hold end" waypoint. My workaround, which seems to work, is to unassign the flight after it takes off, but before it hits the offending waypoint, and then reassign it to the ...

Congratulations to the person who wrote the new manual. From the posted excerpt, the prose is clear and easy to understand. Very well written.

RE: Will you keep playing after this patch?

Seems to me that unexpected changes in the evolving game just require me to adjust. If you're not too focused on winning or losing its all good.

I would like a patch that would stop Farfarer from invading me by sea.

RE: 1.05.59 rule changes?

Am I missing something? Look at Pelton's self-published record, playing as Axis presumably. And you want the rules readjusted to favor axis?

RE: Drang Nach Osten (DNO)

<t> OK, it looks like this thing may go. We are shooting for a New Year's attack on the east. For now it appears we have six unless somebody drops out. If you are interested in case one of the six can't start, let me know. The players should have received an email with proposed ground rules, etc ...

RE: Fair Weather opponent warning...

My two cents. Never ever post negative on an opponent. You don't know why that person behaves. Just don't play them again. Life is too short to vent on the net.

<t> I'm ready to give this a try. If you've done one, advice is welcome.<br/>

PBEM of course. My thought is three on a side. When life gets in the way teammates can cover turns, so good communication is key.<br/>

RE: My Problem with WiTE

<t> I agree with these comments. Although Axis made huge mistakes, the Soviets "played the game" far worse in 1941. And I personally think the Germans didn't play it all that badly until Stalingrad It's not the game's fault that it is hard to win for the Whermacht. That's the way it was. Might have ...

<t> Larry Fulkerson and I just finished our third game. We'd like to team up playing the Soviet side. I have not yet played Soviet, so Larry will handle the unit construction, air force, and advise me. As time goes on we may change the burdens.<br/>

RE: Finding and moving the Big Guns

I've been able to do it by going to the production screen. If you filter with labels, there is a Heavy Artillery subsection. Right column lists the number of units with that equipment. Click on that and you'll get a list of units, you can then move them.

Yeah I taught him that trick. Farfarer beat up my Romanisns, used the guards units to drive into Rumania. I was cooked by 42.

Very entertaining game though.

<t> Looking for a new game. As Axis I'm average, and usually play that side. If you are new, and want to try the Axis, I can try the Soviet for the first time.<br/>
