Re: V&V Squad Leader Maps

Thank you for sharing. I downloaded and copied the folders to the proper locations. I see the SL section for the scenarios but the scenarios themselves do not appear (on the left). Have I missed something?

How to disable tank movement sounds?

I just bought the base game. I have turned off all three sound options from the main menu. Each time a tank move, the sound is abnormally loud. I tried renaming the tank movement sound files but then the game will not load. Any ideas how to turn down or turn off this particlar sound?

Re: How do you play?

This has been an interesting thread. I play against both AI and players.

I prefer to play the Axis side. I want to see what I can achieve versus histrorical results. Thus, for me, I need a SU AI that acts near historical.

It is my observation that SU players come in two types. The first type play ...

Re: Quick Questions Thread

I hope I am answering the question asked by Elizabeth:

When I want specific squadrons to do a thing, I ensure that "Show Air Groups" is ticked at the bottom right of the window. Then when you click on the map, you can then select the air group by clicking on the "++" symbol for the desired squadron.

Re: Intermediate Axis Player lookings for a Soviet player for long walks on the beach together

I have received a PM to accept the challenge but I am uncertain if my reply was actually sent! In fact I now have two messages in my outbox. I have no idea why.

Anyway, to my challenger, thank you, your terms are most agreeable. Please send the turn when you are ready.

Intermediate Axis Player lookings for a Soviet player for long walks on the beach together

I would like to start a '41GC. Looking for a Soviet player.

No early end
No temporary motorization
No para drops
No amphib invasions west of Sevastopol if it has fallen

Of course this is all up for negotiation!

Finally, my goal is to make the Soviet '43/'44 offensive as miserable as possible! :D

I can answer #6. I use Apendix i, pg 471 extensively. Page 485 is a table to address roads.

Re: New swamp, woods and forest map art

Thanks for the reponse. To be honest, you do yourself a diservice. While Pretty Trees is an improvement, I prefer the clairity that your appraoch offers. Thanks for "planting" the idea though!

RE: Axis bias mod.K

My only request (as mentioned earlier) is to have the SU assigned to OKH for the start of the '41GC.

I would be happy to play this mod in the long game and provide balance feedback.

RE: T04

Thank you for sharing the method of moving airbases. I completely missed the "A" key. I thought all airbase moves had to be completed during the air phase. This make much more sence. Thanks again.
