RE: AT for AD or HQ units.

<t> Yes. The UNIMOG S404 B was used in the german ROLAND and GEPARD units. The STINGER was never uses in a GEPARD Unit, just the REDEYE. An one PzFst44, later PzFst3 was used in every ROLAND/GEPARD Troop. Same for HQ units. At least on PzFst would make sense for every Company HQ Unit in the german ...

AT for AD or HQ units.

Would it make sence to give some hand held AT Sytems to AD and HQ units? Thats missing, or? We always had an PzFst in our Flak and HQ units. Just to give those units some AT defence.

RE: Night Vision

<t> Well, for the german army: We had one small arms sight per squad back in the 90. When we got the G36 we had one per weapon, around 9 per squad. Moonlight only. But we had NVG for the drivers of our WIESEL tanks and for the gunners of the 20mm gun. And of course MIRA for the MILAN and the night ...

RE: New Title Announced.

<t> Well, but dont make the same mistake like other dev. Its a great game but with some thinks i did not like. Missing SOP or holf fire command. For me the missing things make me having less fun when playing the game, sorry to say. And buying a new game just to get the features Iam missing, well ...

RE: Is this realistic? Or am I just botching it?

<r> Hi! I have been a couple of years in a light air defence unit of the Bundeswehr. We had the STINGER System. I know also the GEPARD Air-Defence System. It makes no sense to put a AD System in the wood. Normelly for a GEPARD Battery you have on System running ites Serarch Radar, the rest will not ...

Well, in the german airborne forces we had the MIRA System. Four in every company, back in the 90`s.

RE: 2.03a Update Feedback

<t> Hi Guys! Thanks for the update! Makes more fun to play! But........... I can confirm that the AD-Missile Units are firing at tanks. First scenario of the Hell on wheels campaign: My chaparral unit fired twice at a Russian T80 company. But its a great game, I loved to play it. Just missing a hold ...

RE: Hold Fire

@MikeGER
For the LEO 1A5 you are right.
Iam talking about the scenario The Pied Piper. Iam working with it to get a feeling for the game. There its a LEO1A1A1. Check it: Sensors are IR and Rangefinder are Stadia. Its a great different between LEO1 A5 or A6 and LEO1 A1A1. C

RE: Hold Fire

<t> @SKeeM: Well, the mention german tank has no Laser-Rangefinder and such modern thinks like a digital fire control system or a night/bad-weather vision system. The Leo1A5 has it all but not the LEO 1A1. <br/>
@tombo. Same for me. I missed the SOP feature also. Example: Platoon LEO 1A1 spotted ...

<r> Thanks for the replys. Well, I think I will get used on it. I mean the game is great. Its just a small feature Iam missing, Maybe the profiles will get a little better, as you say. I will wait and see, no problem at all <E>:)</E><br/>

Hold Fire

<t> Great game, I loved it! But for me the old Doctrin/SOP feature is missing. I would like to order my units to hold fire or engage certain type of units at a special range. For example, in the Rommel scenario my LEO 1 engaged T72 or T80 on more than 2000m range. For me, it makes no sense. Would be ...

RE: Up for air...got a few questions...

HI! I found in the manual something about an EW aircraft. What can it do? Same as an recon aircraft? The Game is the best I ever played!&nbsp;
