RE: Points for sunk ships

Thanks a lot for your answers! It is good that fog of war applies to this although it probably means that I´ll have to leave that bottle of champagne in the fridge[:)].

To the date - it´s 16 Dec 1941.

Points for sunk ships

<t> Hi! I have a problem with Points for sunk ships on intelligence screen. I am playing full campaign as Allies against Japanese AI. It´s 16/12/1941 and intelligence screen reports that I have sunked 7 Japanese ships valued to 55 points. However, when I click on the list of sunk ships, I can found ...

RE: OT-Are you playing that stupid wargame again?

<t> Nice topic [:D] With wife and small daughter, it´s really hard to play at home. Fortunately, I spend quite a lot of time in the train while commuting to the job so...Sometimes it´s funny to watch other people trying to realize what the hell I´m doing on that computer [:)]. Oh, and nights in ...

Fascinating. I really love the level of penetration of Star Trek into common knowledge. BTW, I remember USS Nimitz starship in one of Star Trek games [:D]

Aircraft tenders

<t> Hi! I need some specification concerning AC tenders. If I remember well, only float planes were tended in original WitP. Is it the same in AE? In manual, I can read that AV is used to tend float planes but for AVD and AVP, plane type is not specified. I suppose that it is the same but just to be ...

RE: PH attack - 2nd day

<t> OK, but PH strike can cause much more damage than that to BBs. Nevertheless,I am not interested in it just because it gave me advantage/disadvantage in this particular game but rather in general. For my personal purposes I will interpret it as a mistake of japanese recon which reported some DD ...

PH attack - 2nd day

<t> Playing full campaign as allies against AI, I experienced classic PH attack on Dec 7th leaving 3 BBs sunk and other 5 badly damaged. I´ve sent several ASW TFs to hunt enemy subs and my remaining fighters prepared for the next strike. On Dec 8th, it really came as expected - but japs aimed those ...

232nd RAF Sq.

<r> Hi! I have a question concerning 232nd RAF squadron. As I am studying air groups reinforcement schedule and I´ve found that No.232 <B><s></s>(P)<e></e></B> Sqn RAF will arrive to Cape Town and No.232 Sqn RAF will arrive +-14 days later to Aden. Now, what is the relationship of these two ...

RE: Christmas presents

<r> I am a loyal netbook user as I hate to carry a huge laptop along with my other bag every day on my way to work. And I don´t mention airport security procedures, I´ve realized that I am not able to track more than one piece of my luggage at a moment [:D]. So I have some experience with playing ...

RE: Changing leader

Oh, I am sorry. It´s in the morning and I am still sleeping... I will pay 116 PPs, OK. But nevertheless, there are leaders with PP value higher than 10 and it means that in those cases I will have to pay negative PPs i.e. receive them...

Changing leader

<r> Hi! I am a little bit confused. I am doing my 1st turn review of Malaya forces and when examining stats of Percival I found this - in WitP Tracker I found that his PP value is negative (-106 to be precise, same applies for Wavell). What does this mean? In manual (p.222), it can be found that "To ...

<t> Hi Pennine. Deep respect for your uncle and many thanks for what he did. In the US, they call WW2 generation "The Greatest Generation". In our country, we call greatest those who escaped occupied Czechoslovakia and joined the allied campaign in foreign armies. They are true heroes of my country ...

Thanks for a welcome. Pilot training is a thing which causes me a headache, I can´t say I really understand it at this time so I will have to do some study.
