RE: Assistance Requested - JTCS Won't Install

Of note, I just clicked ignore and the installation has continued. Will this affect the game at all?

RE: HELP!

Ok, I figured it out - three turns prior is when I had hit the "0" on support, so for those three turns units started migrating back to OKH. For some reason, putting it back to "3" took a few turns. I just went back a few turns and had to redo my awesome 50 unit pocket (which wasn't so bad).

RE: "...it's all about maintaining and maximizing panzer mobility for the Axis. Period." - Mynok

<t> I agree; although I wasn't as advanced (no airdrops/HQ buildup) I found that, if I balanced things right, Panzers would unhinge defences. The next best thing to bagging a big pocket is forcing the enemy to abandon good defensible terrain and important cities for absolutely nothing except one ...

RE: HELP!

<t> I ensured that all the Armies were also set to 3 but OKH still insists on sucking all support except construction/pioneer assets back when I click next turn. Is this a glitch?<br/>

RE: HELP!

<t> Okay, I've went back to my last turn where distribution was "normal" (All Corps generally had their mix of support). My support level has been 3 and has always been 3.<br/>
<br/>
However, this was the turn where I turned the support to "0" while I was fooling around - I can only assume this is ...

HELP!

Ok, I was fooling around with the command window and now, OKH has pretty much all 297 support units available. Most of my Corps and Armies have a couple construction battalions each.

What do I do to have the support units distributed to the Corps? The manual isn't that clear.

RE: AGS Week 10 S

<r> In the southern part of the front, 17 and 11 Armies, with narrower fronts, continue to act as wrecking balls to any Soviet attempt to form a cohesive line. 17 Army gets its first units over the Dnepr in anticipation of its movement around the north side of Dnepropetrovsk, outflanking the city ...

RE: AGS Week 10 N

<r> The third month of fighting continues in Army Group South's AO with the continued advance of 1 Pzr Group on Kharkov. However, fuel becomes a concern as only 20 some miles is made, with the lead elements meeting Soviet defenders in Sumy. 6 Army to the northwest starts to run into Soviet ...

RE: AGC Week 10

<r> On the northern portion of Army Group Centers fight, Pzr Groups 2 and 3 make another thrust, creating a small salient around Ryzhev. It appears as if the Soviets are attempting to form a line here to stop our advance on Moscow. 9th Army continues to push hard to the east to keep up and support ...

<QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>ORIGINAL: Skanvak<br/>

<QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Here is an alternate and very logical POV: historically the the TOE of most German units was at 30 - 40% before the blizzard; OKH pushed too hard trying to, "win" before the winter. It is not wise to adjust weather effects to ...

RE: Turn 13: Leningrad under siege

Personally, I like how you are making this AAR a story with a bit of personality- it makes it unique and makes the moving a small boxes with numbers interesting. Keep on keeping on!

RE: Reread Glantz

<t> I agree with you Marquo. As an Canadian Infantry Officer, we routinely work in "the blizzard" - conditions of -30 to -40 degree (celcius) weather. It is harsh and 80% of your effort is just staying alive; if you are not prepared (as the Germans weren't at first) the results will be devastating ...
