RE: Upgrades

<t> I've only played through the game once and haven't really got a feel for experienced vs non experienced units, other than that overstrength ones cost a lot of damage. But i will take your word for it and upgrade my obsolete experienced units. It costs so much though when its a different type ...

Scenario Tree

<t> Is there some sort of tree diagram that shows the all the possible scenarios based on whether you got a major victory/minor victory or defeat? It would be fun to try and play every single scenario, but i dont know which scenarios are impacted by the result? For example on some maps it doesnt ...

Upgrades

<t> As new units come along, you can upgrade the old units. When they are the same basic type then it is much cheaper (eg. Panzer IVA upgrade to Panzer IVE you get a substantial discount). But when it is a different type (eg. Panzer IVA to Panther) then you receive no discount and effectively pay ...

RE: Overstrengthening units

<t> Yes, you are correct. I believe it is half the cost if you reinforce your units in the setup phase of the following battle. So towards the end of a battle, you probably want to keep your low strength units out of the way and just wait until next battle to reinforce them.<br/>

Tips on 1944/45 tactics

<t> I played through Panzer Corps for the first time on Colonel and did ok, but not great. I beat off the allied invasion at Normandy, but then really struggled with the war in the East against Russia. They have a massive number of tanks and anti-tank guns that i just can't seem to do much against ...

RE: Noob questions

Thanks a lot for the tips so soon after my post. I have another question about entrenching. Does it happen automatically by just leaving a unit sitting there and doing nothing for a few turns or do you have to somehow activate it?

Noob questions

<t> I’m a newbie to the game, having played through the training missions and first few maps of the single player game only. It’s a great game, but I am slightly frustrated with the interface, as I’m still getting used to it (I have accidentally moved units sooo many times!). Anyway, I thought I ...
