Yes it takes even more resources than my av kaspersky which is reputed as bloated av but its a necessary evil because so many games are steam exclusive now :(

It seems that there is the super area weapon as well that doesnt seem to show up in research. You can successfully steal those two tech ten times + and they still wont be complete.

Yes or make the the spy capture some a fixed amount of tech points instead of a percentage. So that in longer tech games, we actually need more effort in tech stealing to get a tech as well.
Although I would still love the option to completely disable it.

I think the issue was with the policy , I switched from speed and agility to balanced and my 6 year old designs finally got updated to use the engine, they should have been using.
