<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s><QUOTE><s>
</s>If the Soviets don't make mistakes, then no chance for Germans. That's my point. The game isn't balanced. <e>
</e></QUOTE> <br/>

RE: Next qualitative leap for WitE

<t> As a matter of fact, I must admit that I have, along with my 3 or 4 usual opponents, given up on the game for the moment. It's not even the problem of balance, strictly speaking - it's just that we bought WithE because we enjoy historical simulations, and that, with all due respect for the devs ...

RE: Next qualitative leap for WitE

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>I don't think this will work in any game. Historically, the Russians/Stalin evolved from meddling to professionalism through the war, whereas the Germans/Hitler went the other way (professionalism -> meddling). So, by 1944, the German player would have say 40% of his forces ...

Next qualitative leap for WitE

<r> (first of all sorry for my deficient English, I'm not a native speaker)<br/>

If I got it right, in the developers' opinion the current version seems to be more or less finalised.<br/>
I guess, however, evolution in the future is not excluded, and I was wondering what features of the ...

<t> Well, I haven't played PBEM yet, but that's a concern!<br/>
Does this mean that anyone is ACTUALLY able to replay every move or assault untill he gets a satisfying result?<br/>

I mean, in all other games I have played PBEM, that was precisely the one thing that was impossible, and for ...

RE: Baltic sea ports

Thanks

I see the radius thing now
however , I noticed a row of four hexes (X56, Y18-17 and X55, Y16-15) that remain under enemy (russian) control with no apparent reason or enemy port from which this could be originating, and that force naval move to a detour near Hanko...

Baltic sea ports

<t> Hi there<br/>
I'm cuurently somewhat struggling with how ports work (for the Axis) in the Baltic. I've played the first turns a number of times, capturing Tallinn, and sometimes it is open to naval traffic, sometimes not, german units in Riga are allowed to perform naval move but can't get out ...

<t> Hi there<br/>
does anyone know how to airdrop these guys<br/>
I've stacked tham withan airbase full of JU-52's but the only thing I managed to do is have them drop supplies on top of themselves. The manual is not a great help... thanks...<br/>

Isolated units escaping

<t> Hi there I'm running a game under 1.05 and I've had a number of isolated units routing out of pockets into safety<br/>
that is unless they are physically surrounded by units in every six hexes of its ZOC<br/>
as a result, I had very few russian surrendres in the german second turn in spite of ...
