It doesn't matters mucho how fast your computer is, as the game engine doesn't seems to benefit from multiple cores. <br/>

RE: Screen Rez problem

<t> <br/>
I had the exact opposite problem. I was playing at a computer with a 1920x1080 resolution monitor, and then switched to a 1366x768 laptop, and the "change color" button was cut off-screen. So every time I wanted to change the color of an unit or HQ (which happened quite often playing as a ...

<t> <br/>
1) Enter the Scenario Editor<br/>
2) Set Axis production to 255% (which is the higher you can raise it)<br/>
3) Start the scenario giving the Germans a 150 in everything<br/>

The AI will not be able to advance very fast neither make big encirclements. But good luck driving it ...

RE: Is anybody like to see the leader rating getting cut by promotion?

<r> <br/>
I'm sure this thread would have been a lot more constructive if it's main point had been phrased as something like "<I><s></s>automatically promoted leaders shouldn't loss stats as it was not the player's choice to promote them<e></e></I>", or "<I><s></s>manually-promoted ...

RE: Question about Buildup of Soviet Airborne Brigades

<t> Checked the TOE of the Guards Airborne Division vs a regular Guards Rifle Division.<br/>

As expected, the airborne gets lighter material: No heavy artillery, less guns, less sappers, no SPG very later on... but has more SMGs and machine guns. For a result of a slighter lower base CV for ...

RE: Question about Buildup of Soviet Airborne Brigades

<r> Yep, from an historical point of view it makes some sense to not let the Guards Airborne Divisions be paradropped. Which is why I wonder if it's a "<I><s></s>working as intended, keep them as brigades attached to Corps if you want to paradrop them, like historicaly<e></e></I>", or an "<I ...

RE: Recommended settings vs an AI German

<r> The IA needs a lot of extra manpower to deal with the inevitable extra casualties due to poor-planed attacks and, later on, non-prevented pockets. You can as well set the German IA to infinite manpower and production, as the size of the Axis Army is fixed, and once you get the Red Army to ...
