<t> In last naval movement subphase, CW has trasnsported by sea WDF armour unit from Plymouth to Gibraltar.<br/>
<br/>
Now, in the french naval movement subphase, you can see that british unit in Gibraltar as also in Plymouth. Well, to be exact in Plymouth WDF is showed on the map, but not in the ...

RE: Splitting convoys

<t> Thanks a lot, BrianJH.<br/>
<br/>
Yes, I had a problem with my expired evaluation Winzip version, so I used Winrar trying to make a zip file, and now I see the error.<br/>

RE: Splitting convoys

<t> I've attached a new file, hope it works for you. If so, it will reproduce the bug as I described: convoy unit in Hong Kong can't be splitted properly using the flyout; it can be done using the control+left click, but the naval review details also fails.<br/>
<br/>
Otherwise, the three options ...

RE: Splitting convoys

<t> I'm using 2.2.8.<br/>
<br/>
I did't say in my post that problem affect's just at the Flyouts. <br/>
<br/>
As AllenK said, it works right with the control+left click (units in hex form).<br/>
<br/>
And now I've also tried with the fast start, as you described, and the convoy unit in Manila ...

Splitting convoys

<t> I think this is a bug.<br/>
<br/>
In Guadalcanal scenario, first impulse of turn one, Japan has a 24 points convoy unit in Hong Kong.<br/>
<br/>
I want to break it down in, for example, 3 convoy units of 8 points each.<br/>
<br/>
So, in the naval movement phase, I select the convoy unit ...

Port attack

<t> Attending a suggestion, I repost in this section part of a message sent before to the WIF School forum:<br/>
<br/>
Japan has placed five aircraft carriers in section 3 of the naval area of the Bay of Bengal. Start a new impulse, the weather is fine and the carriers are organized, so I hope ...

RE: Naval doubts

<t> Thanks a lot, Courtenay.<br/>
<br/>
Now I understand that I misread the rule. I thought the printed, visible CV factor did not change, so you had to add 1 or 2 points to the corresponding factors of the carrier planes. In fact, the rule says "add 1", no "1 is added" ... Anyway, my English is ...

Naval doubts

<t> Playing Guadalcanal, I'm newbie in naval warfare: I've just played Barbarrossa before.<br/>
<br/>
I have two main doubts.<br/>
<br/>
1.- Japan has placed five aircraft carriers in section 3 of the naval area of the Bay of Bengal. Start a new impulse, the weather is fine and the carriers are ...

RE: Stay at sea rules

Thank you, Paul.

Now I see a thread about the hot patch in the forum.

I's a shame I can't be up to date with this huge game. I just can play it, and not as much as I'd like.

RE: Stay at sea rules

<t> Ooops...<br/>
<br/>
I have version 2.1.4<br/>
<br/>
I use to check the automatic updater, and that's all I do in this matter.<br/>
<br/>
Shannon, you talk me about 2.2.3.0 but, at members area, I only see available 2.2.1.0 (22 April 2016). Thst's the one?<br/>
<br/>
Thank you very much ...

In my case, it's functional, Centuur. In fact, I've continued the game and there's no change.
Thank you.

RE: Stay at sea rules

In another thread (Monthly report, opened by PaxMondo) I've found several mentions to the bug that I described.
Maybe that's the reason of the poor response to my post; it's a well-known, tolerated bug.
Thank you for your answer, paulderynck.

Stay at sea rules

<t> Playing Barbarossa, I think I´ve found a bug. It concerns to stay at sea rules as described in RAC 13.4.<br/>
<br/>
To verify it: when "stay at sea" phase begins, just click on "next phase" button, withtout doing anything else. At the start of the subsequent "return to [naval] base", click ...
