Re: What CMO scenarios lack

There are ways using LUA to bring as much traffic as you want into the actual area you are interested in and have them "disappear" when they leave that area. As others have said it's not a "CMO issue" as the OP implies but rather a choice made my scenario designers who may want players to actually ...

Re: CMO - v1.08 PUBLIC BETA - Brand NEW Features

Can we get an update on the status on 1.08 Official release?

Obviously there's been some last minute hang-ups/changes that pushed it back, but I think we'd like a status update, since it's been almost a month now since the last one.

Second this request. It's been over a month since a final ...

Re: Collective engaged defensive posture.

Lol yes CMO is very realistic in its approach to this. As a mission planner for the other side, the best realistic approach to counter that "fire a missile to scatter multiple attackers" is to attack from a multiple axis approach. This makes each defensive SAM/AAM only trigger the defensive reaction ...

Can we try to keep some semblance of limited politics in this forum? Its been fairly calm when compared to other parts of the internet. It only takes one idiot to ruin it for everyone. There are plenty of places to spew all you want around the web. At least try to show some restraint. Just as a ...

Re: Exploring the Command series Totally Blind

As a scenario designer myself, nearly all of my gameplay has been in scenario editor. It is actually (to me) a better gaming experience.
My point being that if your workaround only works on the editor, it's still a good one. The editor is fully capable of supporting regular game play...it simply ...

Re: Exploring the Command series Totally Blind

Just wanted to commend you for your effort. I used to devote all of my Free time to this game. I had an accident which left me blind in one eye and much reduced in the other. I've been trying for 2 years to get back into this. Your story inspires me

Need ideas for Lua script

I am writing a scenario and borrowing an idea from "Top Gun Maverick" for it's main event. I have not been able to duplicate however.
What I'm looking for is to make two targets as in the movie...and the first one must be destroyed before the second can be targeted. I had tried Lua to actually ...

Battlefront customers

I could list this in three games. I purchased CMRT, CMFB, and CMBN from Battlefront earlier this year.
My computer crashed last week.

Now I do not see a way to download the games onto my new computer. The message makes it seem easy...just use installer here...but only "installer" I see is ...

Re: Database Editor

The team is actually pretty good at adding "what if-" DB entries. Just go to the GitHub page Thewood mentioned and make a case for what you want to see . I'm *guessing* that RL DB stuff probably gets priority but they definitely will work with at least believable hypotheticals.

We are all anxiously awaiting the new update for our heart simulator. Like all of us, I also have half-finished scripts, scripts of other players, etc. But please all of us, be patient until the next version of the simulator. I'm sure the development team is working feverishly while some of us are ...

Re: Patch?

It has been most of the year since the game was really enjoyable the way I play it, ie. heavily dependent on missions etc to make the computer side capable, and in large scenarios those missions are a much needed "staff officer" for the human as well.

The old editions being made available were a ...

Love those too...all the way back to Sega lol. I'm currently in a league with Front Office Football...we just had our draft a few weeks ago. A few more dead days, and then my Raiders team will look to improve on last season's 5-12.

CMO withdrawal
