Has anyone tried a DaBabes mod with the latest game version? The new version has a different stock map. Are they compatible?

Windows mode with the task bar on the right and 1680 x 1050 works great. I shouldn't take long to get used to the task bar on the right.

Thanks. I may do that. I was trying to avoid it. As I remember, that cuts off the bottom of the screen. There was some reason that I didn't like that.

Sorry, I don't know what WAD is an acronym for? Should I go with 22 or 7 for the victory points?

Both Allied and Japanese reports showed the same losses including the A2A combat losses that are puzzling.

It looks like the loss of one of these SST's yields 22 victory points. Am I looking at that correctly? That seems high for a small 273 ton displacement ship. It doesn't seem worthwhile to expose it to attack because it can only transport 40 tons of supplies. Am I missing something?

I am an experienced player (3 years playing against AI then 4 years PBEM). I got frustrated with opponents quitting for one reason or another and have been playing short scenarios. I am hoping to find an opponent that will hang in there until the end in a GC preferably DBB-C.

I am still left with a question: Does command radius of "1" mean an HQ exerts influence in only the hex in which it is located or does it exert influence on the adjacent 6 hexes as well.
