RE: Invasion West Coast!

<t> What are the port levels of the bases the Japanese control on the West Coast? It will take forever to load heavy equipment. My guess is the Japanese load what they can in one day and run for safety. Otherwise the risk of loss just escalates.<br/>

RE: Invasion West Coast!

What can you do elsewhere knowing that the entirety of the IJN is busy on the West Coast? It's not like the Japanese will be able to mount any sizable counter-invasions anytime soon.

Attack at PM failed to take the base. It will fall next attack though.
Are you going to use one, or more, of your armor units to pursue? They should be able to mop up any survivors, even in jungle rough terrain.

I'm curious as to the increase in crew experience for Enterprise and Yorktown. I've never bothered to look at this particular benefit of surviving combat damage.

I'm amazed by the lack of human presence in the photo. Looks like the land would support some sort of agricultural activity. Are there terrain features outside the view that isolate the area?

No troops, but I would think some still had supplies aboard that the Japanese will have to replace to support their invasion.

<t> There will be no Dunkirk. The KB does not have the durability to protect Japanese merchant shipping for the multiple days it will take to load the troops. RE: Invasion West Coast!

There were 4 more sweeps, one P-38 and three P-47. and they flew against fatigued pilots. So I can understand Jocke's optimism about the total Japanese losses. Jocke also had the opportunity to watch the combat replay, and there may have been more carnage than the combat reports indicate.
