My fear...

<t> Ok, so no answers whatsoever about the stacking of land and support units...<br/>
<br/>
So I guess my greatest concern about the game is for real: it's a one unit stacking, right? so a V-1 unit ( a bunch of ramps and a bunch of guys to operate them) will prevent a 250.000 men army to deploy ...

RE: Italo-German relations

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>But indeed if you apply such limitations there you may as well have other differing limits between West and Soviets. (Heck, the Anglo-French military planning even envisioned a bombing of Baku in order to limit Soviet fuel shipment to Germany that was due to R-M pact); using ...

RE: Italo-German relations

<r> Well, the problem is not really the balance. Obviously, what you take here can't be there at the same time. The problem is minimally representing the political reality of the period. Already, it's kind of a twist to have Italy and Germany played by the same player, as Mussolini had his own ...

Stacking support + Land units

I think I remember the issue was mentioned and it was going to be feasible.

I really hope it is the case, it wouldn't make much sense otherwise. Just thinking of one-hex Malta, for example.

Can someone confirm?

Italo-German relations

<t> Can't wait to lay hands on this game!<br/>

I was wondering how ( if at all) were Italo-German relations modelled (since they are played by the same player).<br/>
I mean, Mussolini's refusal to allow German troops in "his" theatre of operations until he was cornered by disaster cost ...

RE: Video Preview

Looks really nice!

I was quite astonished, though, by the values on the diplomatic screen

Romania 60% towards the Axis? in Sept 1939??
Iraq 20% pro-Western???

where does that all come from?

More than two players? please?

Will there be an option for more to two players?

I know the soviet Union is not supposed to be in the thick of it before mid-game, but the soviets could be played by the AI until a player takes over.
Another option is to give one player France and the Soviet Union.

Looks nice

Count me in

however, could I be reassured about stacking? Considering the size of the hexes, having a unit of V-1 rockets occupy the whole space ( or an air unit, or artillery, etc...) is going to be problematic to say the least...

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>One big problem with the current WITE system I don't see addressed is synchronisation. If a unit spends it's full time allotment fighting through a position, another unit shouldn't be able to exploit with it's full movement allowance into the gap.<e>
</e></QUOTE>

<t> Regarding VP, I don't mean them to straightjacket the players into some predefined and mandatory axes of progression.
