Re: EDBTR 1.06.102 beta Ready for Download

The Martin Middlebrook and Martin Bowman books on the Battle of Berlin.
are good starting points. There are two other books on the same subject, but I can't remember the authors at the moment. I read all four in a row. It's interesting the different prespectives you get. The squadron combat ...

Re: EDBTR 1.06.102 beta Ready for Download

Re: Gary Grigsby’s Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich - Update v1.06.101

Airfield

Found this on FB.

Airfield.

The biting wind long forgotten,
Why should we remember?
Control tower - it's job long since done,
A monument to another time,
Why should we remember?
Runway - weed strewn and unwanted,
Why should we care?
Its life blood long since gone,
The life which was mostly death ...

Re: Action This Day

Its your project, but if you could (and this would be a massive amount of work I suppose) do both the RAF/AASF/NZAF/PAF/CRAF(? Canadian/Poles/NZ/AU). and all the USAAF day by day now that would be really tremendous and awesome.

If I pulled that off, I would probably get the Nobel prize for ...

Re: Action This Day

Thanks Mark and Zovs for your kind words. It was a mixture of joy and pain in the a$$ at times doing it.

Shall we do it all over again in 2029? The museum now has an interesting book on the day to day doings of the AASF, so that would make the 1939 first half of 1940 a little more interesting. And ...
