RE: German AI

For Germany to win, it needs to inflict a 3-1 damage ratio - but you seem to be the one actually damaging him... So you basically won this. Are you playing normal? (re. 25% bonus to AI)

RE: Is there a map editor?

It seems however very few people mod for CB, which is disappointing since it's such a good game. But from what I read, the editor is not that simple, like said joeyeti, you will need dedication - but if you come up with something good, we will love you![8D]

RE: Historial Accuracy?

<t> About 'historical accuracy': a look at history in general shows how much is due to randomness, moods, chance, weather, personalities, timing, freaks, snafu and luck, to name a few. Napoleon had bellyache at Borodino, to name but one thing.<br/> <br/> Of course the historical Case Blue raises a l...

RE: Historial Accuracy?

Stalingrad, well yes, but for that you need to destroy as much as possible of the the Red Army before reaching it.

As to the Caucasus, it's huge, can an Axis player 'conquer' it all? I won before ever reaching Baku... Anyone else having made it there?

RE: Sound problems with units

I know I always have the issue of having to manually click in the Pref on the music and special effects buttons to put them back on - otherwise I'd be playing without music and fx... Try clicking them at every game start?

RE: Strategic questions for a noob

All-out attacks on the whole front all the time are out of question; as Germany you need to maneuver and achieve a 3-1 ratio of losses if you want to have a chance.
AGS: like said above, Rostov, etc. and plenty to do for AGN!

Questions - Land Units, Art and C&C

<t> Question about Land Units, Headquarters and Leaders...<br/> <br/> Command and Control:<br/> 1- C&C ‘Bug/exploit’? Or WAD?: I understand it cost one CP and one Political Point to transfer a unit to a new HQ. Thus, transferring a German division with 4 sub-units will cost 4 CP to the new Leade...

RE: A Couple of Questions

<t> Simple question: when we play with pbem can we save the game mid-turn? <br/> <br/> I vaguely remember reading somewhere that we cannot - we must finish the turn in one session. Somehow in my mind to save the game in pbem = to send it to the server for next player's turn.<br/> <br/> Since I play ...
