The date it may happen is fixed when the game begins, but kept secret from both sides.

Ah, yes, there are some differences between ACW and the other games in terms of the land/sea hexes, so this must be the reason unfortunately.

Yes, I think it should be possible, instructions start on page 213 of the ACW Manual and you will have to export and import solely the map relevant data, i.e. not the country settings, unit deployments, research etc.

eine Frage in diesen Zusammenhang: Wird es auch einmal ein DLC für den II. Weltkrieg geben - so wie früher bei SC 2 WaW ( z.B. Arnheim / Wacht am Rhein / Kursk usw. ) oder mit What if Kampagnen ( z.B. Neptun / Herkules usw. ) ?

You are right that it increases the randomization.

Essentially it can be used to make a script fire in some games but not all games, even if the same conditions are met.

Only one #GV can be used per script.

Automatic upgrades are benefits from research that you gain without having to upgrade units.

e.g. Command and Control increases HQ ratings for free, you do not need to upgrade the HQ.

Well, this campaign no longer works...doesn't even show up in the menu. I tried to load it into the Editor and got a
' FAILED(on_menu_command): ' Pity as it sounds great. Please let me know if anyone has an idea how to correct it.


Did you place it in the campaigns folder for mods?

Destroy as many Soviet units as you can, as their continued existence is reducing the chance of the USSR surrendering.

Perhaps, it really depends what you have changed, and also what we changed in the version notes: the ones below are the relevant ones for 1941 Day of Infamy.

I got the update, but it doesn't seem to have fixed the problem of the editor refusing to update three AI scripts.

This fix isn't listed in the notes, but was discussed in a prior thread.


The bug was caused when the files were transferred from us to Matrix, so the fix was simply ...

Ah, I think I understand your question now.

Basically, TYPE= 3 can only fire on the turn that matches the date given.

The others can fire on and/or after that date.

Hopefully that makes sense?
