In the victory scripts.

Thanks Bill.

The Allies will receive supply of 3 (maximum) from Soviet resources both before and after the USSR surrenders.

Re: 1939 vs. AI(Axis), highest difficulty: Italy in Paris

Thanks Bill. There was one Italian unit that was near Paris and it kept moving in. So I ended up swapping sides, playing a good Axis turn, including a German capture of Paris, then flipping back to Allies. During it's one turn as Allies, AI did some "interesting" things with my units (most trying ...

Re: The Devil is in the Detail - Atomic Bombs

I see what you mean, I will make a change here to make it clearer. Though even saying Manila has to be in US hands would not resolve it, it is the bit about a US unit, i.e. presence, that I'll have to make stand out more.

Feinder wrote: Fri May 29, 2026 2:42 pm Is there any chance that's "by design" for the AI, to give Italy a bump? (if so, I'm wasting my time on trying to get Germany to capture).
It's not, it's just the way things must have gone, as normally Italian units will be too far away to do this.

Correct, that's simply to demonstrate that if the conditions aren't met on the 1st August, then the script will still fire if its conditions are met later.

Re: Building fortifications on a hex with fortifications

The answer to 1) is that it will benefit from any extra entrenchment the Fortification allows, but not its defense bonuses.

3) Yes, because you only benefit from the defense bonuses if the attack comes from a fortified side.

Re: TANAKA MOD 10.0 SCACW: EVENTS, TECHNOLOGY, AND BREAKTHROUGHS!

SP game. I can't move land or naval units through the naval mine hexes. My .02 naval mines or torpedoes as they were called then are ahistorical as to the effect in your mod. At no point in the American Civil War did naval mines completely prevent ships from moving through the mined areas. I would ...

Re: Is this "classic" version better then the newer version?

There are so many differences it is hard to know where to begin, or how to even list them all.

Most are not visual, although the switch to hexes should be immediately apparent, the changes are mainly aspects that will only be noticed through playing, e.g. de-select a unit after moving/attacking ...

Re: Why do you insist on making the USSR unable to attack

Unit supply is boosted by HQs, which could explain the supply value of 9.

This does sound intriguing, and it would be useful to know the relative unit morale and readiness values of your units versus the German units.
