When you mention a launcher that works, are you referring to earlier reports about connection issues when trying to download the patch, or is something else going on?

One other thing impacting the speed is if the player has the files local or not. The first time the player zooms in with one of these mapmodes, the map area is grabbed from the server. After that, a local copy will be stored and it will be faster.

I still have it working on my end, so unable to replicate. Moreover, we did not release a patch today, so nothing changed in the code since earlier.

Are you using the Steam or Matrix version?
