I tried a fresh scenario I created in the editor. Out of 8 packages, 7 were fine, although AI chose an incorrect altitude for ordnance required for one. One package circled endlessly until it ran out of fuel, despite having a valid target and flightplan.

I changed the tanks' SOP to roads, and they still behaved in a very odd manner, going west to Pfaffenweiler and back, instead of east. Also, note that recon units are converging around the river (they didn't have a road preference set, though).

A test of GM-30 Smerch sounds like an overkill. It can easily destroy 6 platoons of Russian tanks if you set it to 12 rounds per unit. It doesn't sound plausible.

I've just created a small hypothetical scenario centred around the defence of Brovary in Ukraine. Ground warfare is incredibly unrealistic for so many reasons:

Best game to simulate current conflict in Ukraine?

I have a few scenarios (land based so CMO might not be ideal I think) set in Ukraine I would like to simulate. What do you think the best game to do that would be? SPBMT has horrible AI so I'd only try this as a last resort.

I get in most contexts, but trade shouldn't be something that everyone refuses because you're strong. If anything, because your economy is so good and you can provide so many things they lack, they should be happy to engage in it.

We envy your power - is this intentional?

Is the -35 malus for being too powerful relative to a different state intentional? It seems incredibly harsh and punitive. I can hardly find trading partners, everyone absolutely hates my guts because I'm too strong. If it is intentional, how can I mod it?
