RE: Phobetor and Matrix Games part ways

<t> There will be some interesting things<br/>
<br/>
- a Pz II battalion in recon role (the same regular Pz II battalion attached to Panzergruppe 1, it does not have the extra action point the recon class units have, and can see less than an armored car would see, but has a stronger attack) <br ...

AAR for reports, Mods and Scenarios for maps/mods and General for ideas about development and sharing the doctrines. I will see when I can post something even if it will be not so much every time.

RE: Phobetor and Matrix Games part ways

<t> Hi Ronald,<br/>
<br/>
If you could create an AAR section and a Mods section that would be useful. Then I can start with the AAR as it goes, and post some new maps.<br/>

<t> As far as I know, only the Prague (movement tutorial) map is missing, and the Africa mod posted on DMP. As real life becomes more predictable I will see how much time I can spend, dividing some free time between playing and mods.<br/>

RE: Phobetor and Matrix Games part ways

<t> Hi Ronald,<br/>
<br/>
It can be run on anything, just the terrain does not show - and it must be possible to migrate the data to Germany at War. <br/>
<br/>
There is a Prague scenario (movement tutorial) and I may have made a map for it, need to look at my files. DMP hosts an Africa mod and ...

RE: Crimea - defense of Kerch

So three bugs in the first version:
- negated condition
- victory locations (Sudak but not Kerch)
- the blue arrow on the Events page of the Editor moved from 5 to 6.

Hi Ronald,

I will test this again with my oldsavegame.

There are 6 targets so maybe I have missed one.

Hi Ronald,

Maybe you can take a look at the scenario and see where the problem is.

Crimea - defense of Kerch

<t> The Crimea scenario as it is shows breaking through Perekop and advance further south. Sevastopol is not a part of the map (this Soviet naval base was heavily fortified and historically was taken in 1942.)<br/>
<br/>
After Perekop, the current scenario shows an attack on Yevpatoria and that ...

RE: Open Beta has begun

Hi Ronald,

In this time they could have some problems on their own - but if there is Ausf.G I could test my new air doctrine - stronger fighter units and more aggressive air tactics altogether.

For the time being 109F (as in Friedrich [:)] is the newest update.

Just in case it takes forever, maybe it can be posted on the company page?

Airstrikes on airfields

<t> You can attack an airfield with your planes if there are enemy planes on that airfield. Move your plane to the airfield if you do not see what is there but you think there are enemy planes (because they are out of ammo and have just retreated from the battlefield - you do not have to be Major ...

<t> Returning to Crimea scenario - a test of terminator' s idea to show the Soviet defense in Kerch peninsula. The Soviets will have bunkers east of Feodosia, halfway between Feodosiya and Kerch and in front of Kerch. These bunkers must be destroyed in order to win. <br/>

<t> Lviv is the modern Ukrainian name of the city. On the Soviet maps of 1940s it is - in Cyrillic - &#1051;&#1100;&#1074;&#1086;&#1074;, and in Latin alphabet that would be Lwow or Lvov, as you like it. <br/>

Frankenhausen mod - any interest?

<t> There was (and still is) a game People's General featuring modern warfare but it has many mods from other times as well. One of them is the battle of Frankenhausen, yes, 16th century!<br/>

I guess I will need to inform the authors of the mod and ask for their permission (normally it is ...
