So it is a different Browning HMG mount?
note the first one is a single barrel with 150 rds fire every burst. And the 2nd one is twin barrel fire 50 rds every burst.

that's right. So far the CMO has not simulate the fuel storage, fuel facility and air operation yet. However, some of the scenario designer may give you points for destroying the fuel facilities.

While you CAN shot them down with fighter/SAM relatively easily (compared with hypersonic missile), this is not so cost-effective and would expose these AD assets, which should be used to counter more competent manned assets, to be hunted (LM goes --> SAM radar active --> LM shot down --> HARM it ...

I tried this twice and got wiped out by the Soviet attack choppers.
The AI cheats by knowing exactly where the player starting positions are and we are not allowed to redeploy at all. The first turn and onwards is watching swarms of choppers fly directly to where my units are and then blow up ...

You will see this time that my Bradleys did fire some chain gun but not very much. This may be because it does diddly-squat. The combat results flash up quick enough but I kept a close eye out for kills from the 25mm. I didn't see a one so is the AI not firing it because it knows it is ineffective ...

yes, there are 3 issues make US mech formation in a disadvantage position against a dug in infantry formation

and a (smaller) orders transition delay when going from Hasty to Deliberate, and from Deliberate to Assault.
The orders delay to start a Move Hasty is smaller than for an Assault, so you'll be moving out quicker, but incur some delay during the subsequent transitions.

OK, I know Thermal imager provides a significant advantage in dense fog weather IRL, but in the game it can still see as far 9 hex , 4500m in a 500m visibility weather? Is it too OP?

It is possible that your side detect the enemy A/C but cannot clarify them. When the shooter releases the missile, the target was cruising at 480kts. So NEZ is calculated based on the assumption target can only fly at 480kts max.

it's not as simple as, you have no LOS on enemy hex but enemy has LOS on your hex.
It is , from your selected units prespective , if your units sit on the highlighted hex (which is occupied by enemy units) you will have LOS on your current position. Note the soviet do not have Thermal sight, so ...

Tutorial Air Assault. At the beginning of the scenario, the non-NVG/Night sight equipment units has 0 vision range. but after sun rise they are still has 0 vision range?
