Re: Graphic issues

I am having the same exact problems, play on 4k, its like playing witp-ae. But the problems will be sorted out. There is a manual to read and its not the type of game to be rushed into.

Good article, maybe the generals in the pentagon should read it and not their current woke reading list

Re: Historical Ships

STEAM and Iron is on sale for 10USD now at the NWS web site. it's the same interface with RTW2. I don't know if it's the same with RTW3 I haven't gotten to any battles yet. still building 1890s ships.

I want to get a new monitor will the game run nicely at 1440p or 4 K native resolution if I follow the fixes?

How many people feel that War in the West did not live up to its potential?

How many people feel that War in the West did not live up to its potential? I feel the starting point was not good, look at the map many parts are unused. For me you can’t compare it to War in the East one and two or WITPAE. Look at the numbers of forum posts and readers its low. I really wish the ...

Re: Manual?

The game feels like it's in early access. The UI feels old. Its not a grognard game at all. I am glad I got it on steam or else I would feel I wasted my money

Re: Command: Modern Operations - Falklands Out Now

For me the price for the DLC is fine. You know exactly what your getting when you read the product page. If you like the content than you buy it. The Falklands war is the bread and butter of modern naval warfare.

Re: Is this game worth $60?

I think the game is worth 60USD games for the last 20 years games seem to be around 40 USD without a sale or discount, So with time and inflation its around the same price. I live in China now and would be happy to pay the regional steam price but don't want to wait 6 months. This is one of the ...

min altitude of an f-35c

What is the min altitude of an f-35c, the lowest I can go over water is 300 feet an f-18 can go 100. Is this what it should be? I thought in the earlier db's you could go lower, but that can just be an age thing. Thanks

Re: Kudos to the developers

The new patch with the 2D board game and 3D table top gaming Mod has made the game great. The maps are very detailed. Reading the manual helped to. Great job thanks.

Re: Civilians getting greased by accident

Civilians in the game are interesting. The game has a revisionist view of them. The U.S. leadership cut their teeth more or less, during World War 2 and Korea. They were not shy about civilian deaths. The same leadership had the SIOP plan for nuclear war. The communists, from the north didn’t care ...

Rural civilians

Does the Viet Cong / NVA lose points for killing Civilians? Both sides were not shy about killing their enemies. It doesn’t take much to be classified as a counter revolutionary or an enemy of the south Vietnam government.

Re: Turn Length

15 minutes is fine to say, or about. most games will say the scale of the games in the first few pages of the manual. In the John Tiller gold games they will say the turn length in the scenario description. Every one is different for what they want from a game.

Re: Turn Length

Spent a lot of time searching for the time length, then see this ‘’ To be brutally honest this is a topic we'd not like to discuss at all.” That says a lot. I wish I would have seen this before I bought the game. Time is time 15 minutes in 1953 is the same as in 1967. The game does have potential ...
