RE: Remove dead bodies/corpses

I've always wanted to see the corpses of dead stay on the field if in no-man's land. I guess the realism of that would vary depending on context, but in terms of scavenging it could be useful in more desperate fighting.

RE: my lure the infantry unit out trick

That's an interesting tactic.

From my experience even your own infantry will act on their own and attack a tank if it is in range. So the AI is the same for your soldiers as it is for the AI general.

RE: setting up in bunkers etc

I totally agree.

Anchor points would help. If unit is position within the bunker then the primary weapon is placed at the closest anchor point. Or something like that. Whatever works.

RE: It's only a flesh wound Ma

I think they used to return to the next battle, too. But I don't think they do anymore. Could be wrong.

This can cause you to suffer in desperate battles where you have a shortage of manpower and can lose a critical unit, just because too many soldiers are hurt.

RE: what is every ones thoughts on the german MG 42 performance in the game?

<r> It may help to give a machine gun an LOS advantage if all that is blocking their sight is a close bush or hedgerow. Because realistically a machine gun would be able to cut-down any branches obstructing their view and the gunner would push them out of their way.<br/>

This would give more ...
