I actually haven't a clue what most of the above means... but here's what I do:
- I have a Mac with an M1 chip
- I run Parallels and emulate Windows 11 (at least I think that's what happens)
- the game works just fine

The trouble with the wording in the rules as written is they are quite specific they say FRANCE aligns …. They don’t say the countries align with France. The subject in the sentence clearly indicates that France is one doing the action. When you take out Poland, the POLES align with the allies ...

someone must have collapsed Vichy in the Global war scenario.... and would have noticed this by now. is it just this scenario? that can't be right.

rules as written:
"If Vichy France collapses, it ceases to exist as a major power. All of
Metropolitan Vichy France is now conquered by the Axis major power
that installed the Vichy government (see 13.7.1).
Each home country or territory aligned with Vichy France becomes
conquered by any Axis ...

this isn't a bug, but I thought preventing the USA from ever declaring war wrecked the game. Now I am not so sure. The RN is now much stronger after Vichy collapse and the free french can cooperate with the CW. Plus.... the allies have access to a substantial French force pool which means the USA ...

as far as I am concerned this is the "final edition" ... when I was young and very poor, ADG's habit of releasing new versions was seriously annoying. Now I don;t care! I just play this game.. not being up to date with ADG's latest is not a problem, it's a perk!
