8.00.00 Spain aligned, Cartagena MIL cant be deployed

Hello,

the spanish Cartagena MIL doesn't deploy if you align the country.

The game shows it, and alleges there is no place to deploy, although Cartagena only hosts 1 div at the moment (plus a couple of ships), and it is not a city -but it wasnt either in the WIFFE map.

I did it!

Reading recent posts, where (I think it was you, CanInf) you mentioned that to solve some problem you had copied some text from the Fast Start file...

... I went back to when Spain was aligned and the Mil was in the reserve, and copied the MIL text to my current file. Then, since the problem at that point seemed to be the deploy (without a city, only a port), I just edited the file to deploy it to Cartagena by myself.

I am guessing the file tried to deploy it, didnt meet some conditions (I believe that Cartagena in this map is not a city) and that part of the file gets f*cked, so I deployed it myself and there is no f*ck up.

I took it from this

OK so it seems it was because the game file went into notepad at some stage and this MIL became an issue.

what I did
- opened the fast game start
- copied all the Dusseldorf info from the fast start
- pasted that into the game file
- saved as UTF-8... now the name is just whacked...

I am thinking of putting the unit in the middle of Greenland...

Although I had seen rkr do things like that earlier, but this made me remember those, and lit the light within my skull
