You can always update the DB in the editor. Editor > Database then select the Database that you want. It will indicate the latest DB allowed.
In this case from DB476 to DB508 or so.

Option 2. Personally I think the option to "turn it off" is important. Additions such as TacView have a marginal importance to the overall operation of the Command simulation. Don't hurt the application by putting in too much "eye candy"

And, pushing it I've 20Tb additional HDD storage and a 12Tb NAS backup. But, 50+ Tb, no way. And again I' retired with a fair amount of discretionary funds.

Hmmm. I could go 2Tb SSD, generally 1.5Tb available and 64Gb memory but I'm excessive and that's with three versions of Command installed.

Just saying that the player does not have to worry about the actual loading//unloading and transportation of cargo. That is done for him.
