I'm playing Arracourt at US, I got an app exit (no Unhandled Exception though) at both turn 4 and although I managed to coax that through by not making any nioght moves, in that did the same after turn 5

Tried to attach the save game but wont accept .dc4 extension

I had this problem, and support suggested running as Admin.
This seemed to fix it
