I honestly cannot recall, they've been set that way for some time, I've used them for a few games, and never had this happen until today. I can go post them if necessary. I restarted a new game and it's playing normally.

It was just odd is all.

Instavictory?!

Started a new game today after the DLC downloaded, along with game updates. Playing as a a human.

Here's what happened.

Zoomed in
Paused right away
Started building a new space station at the home world
Unpaused
Victory popup :)

Attached a screenshot showing the game date and the victory ...

[1.0.5.0] Nothing to see here, move along...

So it is a single type ship, I had not expected to see these marked as civilian ships but it makes sense I guess. Fuel Tankers ;)

Yep they are dark but I can see them there.

Have you hit the Apply button? You may also have to wait a couple of seconds for the change to apply.


Yes I had applied the settings. This game has been saved and reloaded a couple of times as well, I didn't really catch on to the civilian ships ...

[1.0.5.0] Game Settings: Galaxy Map: Civilian Ships Not working

In 1.0.5.0 beta, the global settings don't appear to be working. I've turned off Civilian Ships yet they are still showing on my map. Did I miss another area to disable them? Apologies for the screen capture, they are hard to see.

This has happened in every game I have played. It also happens on finding and capturing the prime research station. I submitted this about a week ago, no response. I doubt it's a priority in the grand scheme with all the other issues.

Figured it out. It's in the Galactopedia ;)

"With a ship or fleet selected, hold down the right mouse button for a full list of available missions at the mouse location".

In DW1, it was possible to build listening posts in open space. Is this possible in DW2? If it's possible I have no idea how to do it.

I loaded my last save, it starts at a planet "kind of" zoomed in. I zoomed out, trying to get to the galaxy map, never made it that far out, it crashed pretty much right away.

Attaching my save game for what it's worth.

My dxdiag along with the same game, previous save and other logs can be found ...

I have had the same problem in my game at multiple occasions.

What I believe to be the cause is when multiple advisors suggestions come in at one time, it will auto accept the building. This occurs at every advisor/automation setting apart from manual.

Have set buildings to manual to stop it ...

I filled out a google for for this, posting the requested files here.

As others have posted, this seems to happen when zooming in "quickly" (I also adjusted my zoom speed to 2.00). I've had it happen once when zoomed in and clicked on "take me to" advisor.

I have yet to receive a DW2 crash log in ...

Done. And it appears it's not just the traders bazaar, it's everything built on this colony and a couple of others.

The saved game is attached. Since that save, I've been recommended and approved many planetary facilities on different planets that are doing the same thing ...
