RE: Would you like to play a game?

Are you still down for a game of Korsun '44? I think I want to play Soviets. 3-5 turns is good. I was really busy with a recording session earlier but my schedule has cleared up so I'd love to start a PBEM game

Why are there so few LPs and AARs of TOAIII on youutube?

I've always wondered why there are so few youtubers making LPs or AARs of this game? There are two battles played by pewpewpewchew and Steve Sills excellent tutorials that's about it. Why does it not have nearly as many videos as say War in the Pacific or War in the East

OK. I'm playing through Korsun 44 right now. I'll get back to you when I finish and decide which side i'm most comfortable with.

RE: TOAW III - best scenarios to start with?

<t> Here's the order I went. <br/>
<br/>
Aarncourt '44=small quick scenerio. Decent enough challenge but nothing too tough<br/>
Iwo Jima = Really short, really easy (too easy actually), but it introduces you to air support, naval support and amphibious landings<br/>
Korea '50-'51 = Extremely ...

I have 3.4 and would be interested. What skill level are you looking for? I'm pretty new to the game, I've played a few single player scenarios.

RE: Battle Plan designing

MS paint should work on PC. Honestly Preview on mac could work too. It has arrows, textboxes and circles, which is pretty much all you need. Personally I'd love some sort of battle plan drawing board in game kind of like Hearts of Iron

RE: What Book Are You Reading at the moment?

<t> American Sniper. I would not call it a "good" book by any stretch of the imagination. It's pretty poorly written, and to be honest I don't think Chris Kyle is a very good person or a reliable source of information just based on what he himself presents as his take on things, but I'll be damned ...

Where is a good place to discuss war-games and strategy games not sold on Matrix Games?

I come here mostly to discuss The Operational Art of War and Unity of Command. The thing is i've recently gotten into Ultimate General Gettysburg and Wargame: European Escalation, which are not on matrix. Where is a good war-gaming centric forum to talk about those games.
