Blink 2D Hotspot Not Working?

Been playing the new update and I noticed this setting not working anymore. Not a big deal but it's bugging me. :D

Re: Sneak Peeks, Coming Attractions, Works-In-Progress Redux

Quick question, I recently reinstalled CSVN to play the 1.31 Beta. Now that the official update is out, should I remove everything and install again? Or would official update simply override the Beta just fine?

Re: Sneak Peeks, Coming Attractions, Works-In-Progress Redux

I really dig the new scenario selection screen. Current one is both laggy and not very user friendly.

I check in every couple of days to see what went down exactly to the day. Sometimes fun to tag along in corresponding CS:VN scenarios if there are any.

Re: Helicopter Accuracy & Altitude

Yes, yes it is!

The lower you are, the more accurate the weapon will be.

So, for HOGS, you want to be two hexes away, nap of the earth. For SNAKES, you want to be 1 hex away, nap of the earth. That's where you'll get the most bang for your buck.

You are correct, if you are firing from a stand ...

Re: Patton Drive To Prüm scenario

Is this meant to be played as US Human?

If so, US fuel stocks are critically low to the point of being unplayable. Haven't tried the Axis yet.

I am more excited for Overlord than any other ongoing wargame project. Going to be great!

Hi LN59!

I will definitely tackle your 4e R.T.M. campaign once I feel comfortable with campaign sized scenarios. Looks great!

1re armée needs to be represented more in wargames. :D

Great Game!

I feel ashamed for being so late to the party, but only recently have I started playing ToTH (despite buying in 2016!) and I'm having such a blast.

I've played most tactical scale computer wargames out there but nothing else was as fun as ToTH for me. LNL Tactical Digital, V&V, Squad Battles etc ...

Go into "Campaign Series Vietnam/Videos" folder, copy the "novideo" text file and paste it over to the main "Campaign Series Vietnam" folder.

How To Play Against PO?

After all these years, I have decided to give TOAW IV a go!

Thus I have downloaded a couple community scenarios that claim to have PO opponent but seemingly I can only choose between PBEM or hotseat in the menu. I see no option to play against PO. What am I missing?

Re: OOB Incomplete

Panther belongs to the Panzer-Abteilung 2113, while Panzergrenadiers are from 2113. Panzergrenadier-Regiment.

They are not within the same regiment, hence different subordination.

Edit: Took a closer look. Brigade's Panzergrenadier-Regiment has two battalions, which are shown stacked in the OOB ...

Re: Poll: Bradley's Front Trilogy Game Sequence

Do you think including Antwerp in a Bulge game is a bridge too far? Before you answer, how about this hypothetical? What if ALL the promised German divisions for Unternehmen Wacht Am Rhine had been provided (especially 11.Panzer Division and 17.SS Panzer Grenadier Divisions)? Is this worth ...

Re: Poll: Bradley's Front Trilogy Game Sequence

For what its worth, I believe including the US VII Corps AoR would be an added bonus but not a necessity, unlike the flanks of Market-Garden salient that were covered by UK XII and UK VIII Corps. Operations by those corps were of fundamental importance to the main action by XXX Corps.

Yet the ...

Re: Operation Utah

" In Vietnam, support – from helicopter transport, gunships, fixed wing aircraft, and “off-board” artillery – was the critical factor in America’s/ South Vietnam’s lopsided victories in battle. CS: Vietnam continues to get this right. "

I think this is why (among other reasons!) CS:VN is the best ...

Re: Middle East Scripting

My vote goes to "Black September Intruders". Such a unique battle that barely any wargames cover and a fun scenario too in itself. I can imagine scripted Syrian AI being very fun to play against.

Since we were asked to give our top 5, "Upset at Jenin" also comes to my mind as a nice defensive ...

Re: Yet Another AI Query

Sounds like an elegant system that would work for non theater level scenarios. Do vanilla scenarios that come included with the game have such scripts? If yes, that'd answer my question for sure.
