RE: Complaint about latest update

An option to scale up the graphics of the entire game to make it play like its being played on a lower res or something like that would be nice especially considering the graphics are designed for 1024x768 I believe

RE: Complaint about latest update

I was referring to the 6.00.00 patch which states that it now runs in 32-bit. But for me playing at 1920x1080 makes everything way too small to be enjoyable. I just really wish I could play at 1280x720 in fullscreen as that’s the ideal resolution for me in all cc games before pitf.

Complaint about latest update

<t> In the latest update of Last Stand Arnhem the it says the game was updated to 32-bit graphics, so why is a full screen option not available? The game already worked in windowed mode before this update so this is kind of pointless if there isn't a full screen option anymore. I want to play it ...

RE: Any chance of a price reduction? Especially for the older titles

<t> What makes that funny is if you look at the steam reviews of the couple of CC games that are on steam, most of the negative reviews are because of the price. Yes there's a few about the graphics and AI here and there but the price seems to be much more common in the negative reviews. PITF has it ...

RE: Suggestions PLEASE READ DEVS

Personally I think they should go for the CC1 and CC2 ingame UI style because it was all in one place, it didn't get in the way of the corners of the map, and not cluttered around the screen. Maybe make it look a little more modern though.

RE: Is It Time To Change The Close Combat Series

Ahh my bad, I am guessing you mean something similar to an expansion pack? Then yes I agree, in a way I think that's what they should of done with the 2d games considering they all use a modified CC5 engine. Sorry if I misinterpreted what you meant the term "DLC" can mean anything these days.

RE: Is It Time To Change The Close Combat Series

<t> What am I reading? You want close combat to be infested with stupid DLC? May aswell rename the games to Close Combat: EA Sports edition. Leave milking dlc to Fifa and call of duty. We don't want that here. The games being £35 is bad enough as it is and you're asking them to charge for extra ...

Any chance of a price reduction? Especially for the older titles

<t> Whilst I understand the newer titles such as PITF and GWTC being a little expensive, the older "remakes" such as CoI, WaR, TLD and LSA being the same price is absurd. For example what's the point in paying about £35 for CoI when you can get the whole original 5 games for free on Close Combat Org ...

RE: An idea

That is true to a degree, but still, they've taken the original game and added improvements and extras to the engine, which is essentially what cross of iron is for example, so if they have the rights to do that, then why wouldn't they have the rights to re-sell the originals?

RE: An idea

But didn't the earlier matrix releases such as cross of iron, wacht am rhein and the longest day come bundled with the originals? i know wacht am rhein has cc4 bundled with it because I own that

<t> Hello, I was wondering since you guys own the close combat name now, if you could put the older games up for at least a digital sale, these days the only way to get them is to ebay, and they can be very rare, or torrent (not sure if its abandonware or not so can't say if that's legal or not ...

RE: Suggestions PLEASE READ DEVS

If it was just down to the "same old engine", then how come the ai is alot more functional in the older games, mostly cc1-3, the ai actually did what it was supposed to there

RE: Suggestions PLEASE READ DEVS

<t> Just a little minor thing about the CC2/CC3 campaign system, CC3 was very linear and whether you won or lost it didn't effect where you would end up, for example if you kept winning as the Germans, you'd still end up in Berlin at the end, when in reality you should be taking over Russia, where ...

RE: Suggestions PLEASE READ DEVS

Guess the best thing we can do then is just hope its not another cc5 styled stalemate game and a proper close combat game for once :)

Suggestions PLEASE READ DEVS

<t> Please for the love of god, look at CC2 for inspiration for your games instead of CC5, most close combat fans still agree CC2 is the best of the series, CC5 is only loved for the mods, but the game itself is average without mods, and the reason CC2 is preferred is due to the smaller maps and ...
