[FIXED] Exception Fuse Reached errors. B1.09RC - 1825.11

I'm getting the attached error(s) in the latest beta, 1825.11. This version of the game is the 1817 build, standalone version in its own directory, updated to 1825.11 incrementally.
The error appears fairly early in the scenario. No weapons have been fired by either side.
Let me know if you require ...

Re: CMO v1.09 Release Candidate (Public Beta) - Build 1817

Installation: Unzip to any folder (using 7zip) and run it straight from there. (This is a full-fileset pack, so you don't need to overlay it on top of you existing install; in fact it's better if you don't, to avoid duplicate files etc.)

Has this always been the case with beta versions? If so ...

Re: Sea of Japan Crisis - Standing Fast, 1985 -- new beta for testing

Regarding the 4 Badgers that are on a maritime strike, perhaps there is a problem with them. They seem unable to drop the bombs.
-------------
I notice this as well.... it may require modifying the mission to use flightplans and assigning one Badger, or two, to each ship in the strike mission. So ...

Re: Sea of Japan Crisis - Standing Fast, 1985 -- new beta for testing

The PRC will be expected to engage at some point, so this is a sort of self-imposed limitation.

With that in mind, I will refrain from engaging the PRC ships and submarines until they reach a certain point when en-route to the Sea of Japan. I'll put a couple of reference lines.

-The first Line ...

Re: Reassessing JY-27 Radar capabilities

It was widely reported that USN P-8's and EA-F-18G's were "trolling" along Venezuelan airspace near the coast off and on for days/weeks/months. Mapping and identifying every electronic signal they could find. It's plausible they were jammed hard, or rendered non-operational through other methods to ...

Re: Drones, and their usage on destroyers and frigates

There are a number of "micro UAV's" in DB3K-513 that are apparently hand launched. They're about the size of a medium RC "toy" plane. I haven't tried to use any of them, but I seem to recall a user scenario in the Community Pack that had one of them, or something very similar, attached to a ground ...

Re: Trump battleship

Interestingly, if people want to play around with this idea, the hypothetical CGN 21, ID #4447, which displaces about 25,000 tons, is not a bad starting point. I suspect the ship would have to be nuclear-powered to handle the energy requirement issues.

People have mentioned the issue of a vanity ...

Re: Trump battleship

My first inclination is that this is a vanity project. Ego driven.

But, the Navy has in the past made the case for something similar. Call it whatever... a battleship, arsenal ship, missile cruiser, etc. Loaded with long-range land/surface missiles, drones, hypersonics or whatever else is on the ...

Re: v1.08 - Build 1728.2 Steam client Not running

Try running the Steam client as Admin. You'll get a complaint pop-up from Steam, ignore it and check the box to not be notified about it again.

I had this issue for weeks before making this change. Not sure if it's something in the Command exe file or if it's something in Steam. Both running as ...

Re: British Efforts, 1968 - new beta for testing

I just finished a run through on the latest version. I'm running CMO 1.08.Build 1706 (beta).

I'm not a big fan of pure ASW scenarios, mostly because I suck at them. Anyway, I scored a 290 with the Wasp group intact inside the staging area. I lost 1 Shackleton due to pilot (me) error keeping it on ...

Re: What CMO scenarios lack

During "Operation Rising Lion" there was a huge swath of airspace, empty of air traffic. It was like that for the duration of the war. Visible on public flight tracking sites.

Likewise, during the Houthi's attacks on commercial shipping traffic in the Red Sea, there was, for a couple months, a huge ...

Re: Current Conflicts

To this I might add a third approach, which is also a "theme." One could design a campaign built around a particular group of ships, aircraft, etc. So, for example, a fictional world war set in 1985, but instead of moving around to various theaters, it would stick with a particular battle group ...

Re: Is there an underlying issue with the forums?

I was getting time out errors, 404 Not Found errors, etc. the other day too. I figured it was some sort of networking issues or a denial of service attack against some site(s) and Matrix was just a bystander caught up in it.

However, going to the main Matrix site, then navigating to the CMO forum ...

Re: Sea Power

I will say this about Sea Power; it's got a fair amount of fodder for possible CMO scenarios. Not saying some of the scenarios in Sea Power aren't already CMO scenarios, but there's some room for creativity on the player's part with them.

The game itself, the development, seems to have slowed or ...

Re: Charlie Deuce Takes the Lead, 1970 - new beta for testing

I finished this one up yesterday.

A couple notes:
- NATO side needs to be tweaked so when "United States" (player side) is hostile against the Soviets, NATO will be too. As it is, NATO will be happy to hang around and drop sonobuoys but won't attack any detected sub, nor will they attack Algerian ...

Who releases a game, even in EA, without the ability to save?

I think you can modify the config.ini file in this folder: \Steam\steamapps\common\Sea Power\Sea Power_Data\StreamingAssets\original to enable saves. It's mickey-mouse because the Steam data integrity routine will set it back to the ...

Re: Show of hands: keep or remove "quick access" doctrine settings on right column?

I hardly ever look at the doctrine "quick access settings", let alone actually use them.

We are looking at various options for streamlining the UI (both from a UX and from a technical-complexity viewpoint), and one of the candidates for the chopping block is this quick-access section. The ...

Re: Khrushchev's War, Day 3 - Duel near Cape Verde, 1957

I completed a playthrough with V3 yesterday.

I noticed that the weapons magazine at Sal Island has a couple of the ZUNI 127mm FFAR loadouts.... however there's a missing weapon to use these if so desired. The "Tiny Tim" 300mm HVAR Rocket is a required weapons loadout for the ZUNI's to be used ...

Re: Casamance 1 - Arrival, 1986 -- new beta for testing

There's something weird going on with the C.160F Transall's. One of the aircraft's fuel burn rate is off the hook while the other's seems normal. No idea if this is a bug or what, but one of them will be unable to reach Dakar-Yoff even if it "hop-scotches" through every airbase as the last leg is ...

Re: Khrushchev's War, Day 2 - Head 'Em off at the Sunda Strait, 1957 -- new beta for testing

I think the only modification I'd do at this point is to move the UK sub a little bit closer to the Sunda Strait. It will take it the majority of game time to just get into a likely intercept position from it's current starting point.
