Re: Steel Tigers?

From my personal experience (and I'm almost 50 yo...) "The Troop" is the best WW2 tactical turn based game since the legendary Steel Panther. Honestly, a kind of game I would have expected from Matrix/Slitherine..."Headquarters: WW2" is also a very good and promising game .

Re: Steel Tigers?

Now I've lost my hope, but to tell you the true I'm very happy "The troop" (great simulation, good graphics, great support and frequent new stuff from the devs, just too bad for no mp so far) and I've also appreciated a lot the demo of the upcomig "Headquarters: World War II" from Slitherine. The ...

Re: Steel Tigers?

Considering Steel Tigers is not going to happen anytime soon I'd like to inform you that "The Troop" has just left the early realese status on "Steam" and it's now "complete" with 3 campaigns, a story mode and tons of scenario. A really great game (from visuals to "realism" attention) The kind of ...

Really?

What has changed since this? :?:

For a moment I thought "wow finally a decent turn-based tactical game set in the 18th century with decent visual!"... then I saw a gameplay video on youtube... [:(]

RE: Matrix Team READ THIS :)

I think a decent and modern turn based/tactical napoleonic game is quite mandatory (c'on still HPS/JT games...) but personally, I would not like the same dev of Field of Glory II (good game but just a very little evolution of Pike & Shot).

I liked Godzilla in the 2014 version. It had an unexpected elegance mixed with some virtuoso sequences (the scene on the bridge at night was hitchcockian, and the HALO launch was totally breathtaking - I remember my wife grabbing my arm when ...

Too bad, it looked an interesting feature, but maybe it could be implemented in the future or we have to consider TOAW IV a finished game (apart from bug fixing)?

Unlike many I actually liked the 1976 version of Midway.

I don't need to see lengthy CGI battles.

You're not alone mate, still one of the best WWII movie so far.

Woody Harrelson is a very good actor. Considering the film director and what we see in the trailers he could be one of the few things worth to see of this "operation"....
