RE: How Do I Get From Point A to B Far Far Far Away?

<t> Okay, here's where I'm at. I tried the refuel route but there aren't any close bases between the fleet and the target. When I ran out of fuel and chose the refuel at nearest base option, it took me farther away from the target as that was the closest base. So I'm going to have to try something ...

How Do I Get From Point A to B Far Far Far Away?

<t> Okay, here's the deal. I'm 2 planets short of wiping a civilization out of existence. Unfortunately, these two planets have huge populations and thus my transports are going to have to carry a ton of troops.<br/>

Now, I have one fleet that can do the job. The problem is, they're almost ...

Economic Crisis And Pirates Question

<t> Starting to notice now that my credits are building substantially that I am being hit by economic crisis sometimes wiping out as much as 60% of my credits. What causes this and is there a way to prevent it?<br/>

Also, I am finding pirates slightly annoying. It appears in the diplomacy ...

IOW, as long as I don't buy from Steam, I'm fine.

About 50 Years In And Some Questions

<t> Well, I'm about 50 years into my first 1,000 year DW campaign and all I can say is WOW. Had no idea what I was in for but I didn't expect anything like this.<br/>
<br/>
Have a few questions. First one actually pertains to Steam.<br/>

RE: Gamer Of 35 Years Remembering The Headaches

Okay, I went to the Microsoft site and downloaded and installed DX 9C even though my tech said he did it. I then restarted my PC and tried running the game again. Same problem.

Either it's not seeing that DX 9c is installed or it's another problem.

RE: Gamer Of 35 Years Remembering The Headaches

I know I need 9c installed. My PC tech said he installed it but it's not showing up. He said he even chose to install even though Windows detected the newer version. How do I get 9c to install so that I can see it's actually there?
