Well now that you mention it, I never specifically get that option. Messages pop up saying Italy is at war etc, but France is not even an option on the Diplomacy menu.

Only problem with that is I don't have enough free time to devote to ever get decent with it. Too many other things going on.

The game is just way over my head, sorry. Too complicated for me to grasp. Too much going on too quickly.

I am almost hooked. I'm trying to decide whether to order the game plus both addons for $89 from Steam.

I have not because I am only interested in the East Front.

Thanks for that additional info Darby. I want to get a sim that is the most realistic it can be for a pc game. WITE looks like it might be the most realistic of the games I am considering.
