RE: Community Facilities Pack?

<t> Hi magi,<br/>
<br/>
I also think that the current "flat" ordering by country is a bit difficult to navigate. (On a side note: It would be practical to select multiple facilties to import at once, manually selecting them is a bit cumbersome, but there are more important things the devs should ...

Community Facilities Pack?

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
since many community members have contributed import files for various types of facilities, ranging from civilian cities to early warning site location, I wonder if there is interest for a community-organized import/export pack, similar to the Community Scenario Pack and the DB ...

I see it also, but it is so minor that I never bothered reporting it. It fixes itself after a bit or a simple zoom out one notch and then zoom back in fixes it.

RE: Crash when selecting scenario to load

<t> Hi Sunburn,<br/>
<br/>
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly - so it's impossible to launch Command directly (not via Steam) if you bought/installed Command via Steam? Or do you mean having moved Command might cause the issue? Since I cleanly reinstalled Command, the latter can be ...

RE: Day/night lighting causing everything to be black

<r> Hi emsoy,<br/>
<br/>
since the Borders/Coastlines and the BMNG layer are enabled, they should be visible on the map, even if day/night lighting is enabled. As you can see in the above image, the map is entirely black. Enabling or disabling any layer does not help, only disabling day/night ...

[FIXED B748] Day/night lighting causing everything to be black

<r> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
I started Shamal in B746 with enabled day/night lighting. The night overlay "overrides" all other overlays everywhere where it's dark/night. Changing position just a little bit to the west or a bit more to the east remedies the problem, as does disabling the day/night overlay ...

RE: Crash when selecting scenario to load

<t> Hmm. I reinstalled Command v1.08 (through Steam: delete local files and install again). In v1.08, I could launch Command.exe directly without any problems, neither the crash nor the "not licensed" error. After applying the v1.09 RC11 (B746) patch, I always get the "not licensed" error when ...

I haven't reinstalled Command yet, but the problem persists in B744. Will reinstall now.

RE: Crash when selecting scenario to load

<t> Yep, Steam version, but starting Command.exe directly. It occurs with every save, but only when loading a save, not when starting a new scenario.<br/>
I did indeed move Command from my HDD to my SDD (I only do that with really good games! [:)]), using the regular Steam moving method: move the ...

RE: Crash when selecting scenario to load

Hi Mike,

I should have been clearer: the problem is not the insufficient license report, but rather the crash due to an unhandled exception that occurs when attempting to load the scenario.

Thanks for your help!

[AWAITING FEEDBACK] Crash when selecting scenario to load

<r> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
when starting Command.exe directly and not via Steam and the Launcher, Command reports an error on selecting a scenario to load. (When selecting a scenario to <I><s></s>start<e></e></I> (Start New Scenario), Command says that it isn't licensed. Hmm.) I'm not quite sure if ...

RE: Friendly AI: Tanker trying to refuel/ship formations stopping

<t> That was my first thought, and although the ASP and some of its proposed features (e.g. TOT) are mentioned here and there, I couldn't find anything like a general overview. If you look at search hits, it's someone saying that the devs have that on the list for the ASP. [:D] I'm just curious if ...

RE: ESSMs not being illuminated

<r> Thanks for the clarification! I thought the message about the illuminators unable to do their work was about physical constraints like LOS, so I didn't expect jamming to be the issue. Lesson learned about Russian jammers! [:)]<br/>

Sorry, the problem persists. [:(]I attached a save file just before the impact. Additionally, Command reporter a fatal error whose exact circumstances I couldn't yet investigate. A screenshot is included.

RE: Friendly AI: Tanker trying to refuel/ship formations stopping

<t> I started your scenario and ordered the S-3 to refuel. It then climbed to 36000 ft and approached the tanker. But just before hooking up, it suddenly drops to 12000 ft in a fraction of a second. I think we just uncovered another bug! [:)] Unless this has been fixed in the Release Candidate, of ...
